Lesson 11 Practice Test

There are many benefits of becoming a PGP participant. Participants will help advance scientific research, help promote the well-being of our species, and learn more about themselves. Because the PGP plans to enroll over 100,000 participants and tie genetic information to medical histories and physical traits, extensive research data will become available. Scientists will be able to mine, analyze, and statistically correlate these data to answer fundamental questions about our basic biology, our history as a species, and our risk of getting diseases.
